January=blah & boring thus today has been a pajama day. I don't do well with pajama days because I don't feel motivated to do much of anything. The gray sky doesn't help much either.
A few things have gotten accomplished like some laundry, dusting, window washing, and organizing. I really want to kick it into high gear tonight so I get my list all finished.
Next week is back to the normal schedule of work, Aliyah's schooling and all of that good stuff. Maybe it will keep me busy enough to forget about January and move on into the happy months of the year where it is warm and bright!!!! Can you believe that on a pj day, I haven't even turned on the tv?

pj days are my favorite days...well that and days i get a lot accomplished without distractions. i put my favorite music on and enjoy the quietness that grey skies bring. pj days = reflecting days, dreaming days, and creative days for me. something you might do to help the girlie not get the grey-blues is to talk about valentines day coming in a few weeks...all the people she loves and how to SHOW them she loves them. although there's not nearly as much, i get the valentines chochkies out in place of christmas decor. my diningroom is all-things-red. teach her to cut out hearts so that when february comes, she'll be ready to make her valentines. make a mobile of hearts to hang from the cieling...put a name on each heart for her to think of and pray for as she looks at it when she wakes up in the mornings. (we LOVE her praying for the carneys!) anyway, just ideas. you're a great mom with wonderful creative ideas!
