Friends

If one were to ask me what I miss about college, I would not have many things to say that I missed with the exception of the two big/only things I miss. Unequivically the answer would be my wonderful friends and the beach/weather (in that order). Unfortunately, since my college years those friends are scattered in all different states coast to coast & North to South. Many I haven't seen in years (some of them almost 10 years). I miss them.

We had the most fun together and the best of times. We were there for the rough times like when that jerk of a boyfriend broke up with one of us or when we missed home or simply had a bad day. I could tell story after story of the fun we had and the times we were there for each other. It would take up more than enough space and a lot of your time to read them all! These are the friends you wanted to talk to when those triumphant moments came and when the sad ones were there. I wish that I could have them all living close by so that we could get together often and just be girlfriends again.

Sadly, since then I don't have really any friends like that around. Time zones, work, and family make it difficult to have much of a chance to talk. I would love it if just one of them happened to have to be close by. It would be a dream come true. I could imagine us getting together with our kids and picking up right where we left off.

I don't really know if any of them read this blog...honestly I don't know how many I've even told that it exists...but if you do...I miss you!
