So, I'm trying to go festive here. Yay for adding a Christmas feel to the music, new pics, and a new color. Last night while setting up the tree, I realized I wasn't feeling overly Christmas-y. Music usually does the trick and it has started to make me feel more in the Christmas spirit.
I don't know if it's the overall rough times you hear too much of or what?? Maybe the fact that my oldest feels like Christmas just won't be as good without all of those expensive toys on the commercials. It seems over the top this time around--those commercials.
A few things I absolutely love about this time of year:
- Christmas music--my favorite kind of music. I can't get enough of it. I love falling asleep at night to Josh Groban's Noel CD.
- driving around to see Christmas lights/displays
- the wonder in little one's eyes
- family to share laughter with
- surprises
- yummy food
I have several things to get done today to get ready for Christmas...

think of something to get my sweetie-pie for Christmas
Raise your egg nog to the Christmas spirit and my hopes of accomplishments today!

YAY for being Festive!! :) and yays for setting your tree up early like me! i expect pics!
You are certainly ahead of me! We will only be setting up a smallish tree in the corner of our kitchen. The theme will be animal print ornaments.
