Growing

It's hard to believe, but the time has come to take down Keirah's crib. She is 22 months and her new big-girl bed is arriving tomorrow. I took down the crib tonight and re-arranged the room to make room for the new bed and dresser. The girls still want to share a room. The whole time I was disassembling the crib, Keirah was climbing on one side up and down saying "hi mama" over and over. Aliyah was the little gopher who ran and got stuff that I needed.

I have decided that we need to have another garage sale in a month or so and/or I need to start listing on ebay. We need to purge some of their stuff. I don't know how we get all of this stuff. I really don't. Anyway, they are laying in Aliyah's bed giggling every now and then. Hopefully they will be sleeping soon. Nevertheless, I am using this time to chill and check up on some ebay stuff on my watch list. Most of the stuff on my watch list is stuff for Aliyah's homeschooling. She keeps asking me when we are starting. She seems very excited and I'm glad about that. I will be starting later than any other year that we have done this. With all the projects we have currently running and the ones on my list to do, I just want to finish them. I have the girl's room and a hallway to paint still, landscaping to do, and loose ends to tie up in the bathroom. Josh still has to tile around the tub and stuff. I say that we are looking at at least 2 more weeks on that project. I'm definitely ready for vacation even if it's close by--somewhere to get away. Aliyah is really looking forward to her birthday outing at the American Girl store in Chicago. She hasn't ever been there, although we have several times.

Well, that's all for now. This week went fast in the realm of we didn't get enough done at home and slow in other ways. Today seemed like a fall day rather than a mid-July day. It was cool, but kinda dreary.
