Soda--Dr. Pepper

Yes, Dr. Pepper is one of my vices. I've heard it a million times--don't drink your calories. I've also heard it has something like 43 or 46 tsps. of sugar in a can = bad for me! yes, I must confess I probably drink a lot of calories when I go out to eat.
Well, I am trying again to say goodbye to soda. It is hard to do and I've done it before. So far, 3 days without soda. I've substituted things like raspberry tea. Yes, I know sugar, but I can't drop it all at once-caffeine, sugar etc.. I have been drinking more water--good. Once I have mastered this one, I will move onto something else like less sugar. I've done that before also--when I had gestational diabetes. At that point, I told myself I wouldn't have it again. The diabetes diet was sure boring, but boy was it healthy. I know it did great for me since I was pregnant and never gained a pound--in fact I was down 5 lbs! Too bad, I like naughty foods!!
If you look at the time on this, you will notice it is a later post. One thing I love about days off is the night before when you can stay up later. It's kind of like a Friday night =).
Anyway, I've gotta cheer myself on in the getting rid of Dr. Pepper war. water, water, water, water!
