I have missed not having a bicycle for YEARS now. We looked at several stores this weekend, but I still wanted to check out the place where the guy sells the used bikes. We went today and each found a bike. They are both blue. Mine is like new...it doesn't look like it was really even used but maybe once or twice. They were each $30!! What a deal! I guess if we become avid cyclists, we could opt and buy more expensive ones one day =). We took a ride in this GORGEOUS weather and it was delightful. It was the first time that Josh and I have ever ridden bikes together, the first time Josh has ridden a mountain bike, and it was a lot of fun.
There is a really nice and quiet subdivision very close to our house. I think we saw one car the whole time we rode around in it.
It has been a nice weekend thus far. It has been awhile, but Josh and I went on a date last night. We ate at Red Lobster--WHAT?? Yes, I had chicken. If you know much about me--I HATE seafood and to be honest a lot of it just really grosses me out. Josh had fire grilled Tilapia. I must say, I would have eaten that. We went there because Discover sent us a coupon in the mail--that's the real reason =).
We also went shopping a bit. We found some more incredible deals--Gymboree had shirts for $2.99 and $3.99--I couldn't believe it! They turned out to be like $1.42 and $2.21 or something with my Gymbucks. We also went to AE to pick up a few things since we received our AE rewards 40% off coupon. We got some awesome deals there as well!
The porch has been delightful--especially since now we can relax more with it being finished! Tufsey has been staying much closer to home after he got beaten up last week. He joins us on the porch at night.
Oh yeah, a product that I totally tried and love and recommend....Tide washer cleaner. It smells awesome and I'm convinced it does the trick. I have tried the bleach run-through to clean it, but it didn't do the trick. The washer isn't that old (like 2 years), but it has had that yucky water smell at times. I'm assuming from things trapped or residue that I simply cannot see. If you have a bad smell in your washer, I recommend the Tide washer cleaner. It comes in packs of three and it is powder. It makes the whole house smell great!!
Ok...I could say tons more but this post is getting LENGTHY!
Bye for now--off to watch 27 Dresses =)
