Since we had a lot of outside work to get done on the porch and in the yard, I headed out with the weed trimmer. Once I finished and walked out of the alley, I heard a kitty meow/crying. He's back, but I'm unsure as to why he's been gone so much. Aliyah was almost in tears at dinner because she hadn't seen him in 2 days or more. I don't know if he missed us being around the house or what. It is usual for us to hang out A LOT outside and work out there. We didn't really do that too much this weekend. The girls and I went swimming twice this weekend and ran a few errands. It was a fun time.
Here's how much we had to work on tonight...we turned down an evening at the pool...a free evening at the pool...just to get our work done or at least a good chunk of it started. I did yard work and Josh is working on that last inside wall of the porch.
What else, oh...I mentioned that I'm excited earlier in this post. Well, I have wanted a bicycle for the last 9 years. First, when we lived in our apt. (no room to store them). I still wanted them, but when Aliyah was a baby, I was busy with that and house projects. I have still wanted one for the last 2 summers, but tomorrow...I'm gonna check something out.
I know how much they cost at Target...around $200. Well, on the way to the pool, there's this place that sells bicycles--all different kinds, colors, sizes. They are used ones. I am hoping that I can find a bicycle for Josh and myself at a much cheaper price. We'll see what happens.
I'm also excited because we have hotel rooms for our vacation. We also decided on some things we want to do. It's exciting.
So, I'm hoping on these crazy-not so lazy-days of summer...I hope to get my list done so I can be lazy without guilt.
