Billboard

Have you ever wished that God would place things that He had in mind for us on billboards so we would know and figure out what we were to be doing in a given situation?
Well, I wouldn't say that God put something on a billboard so to speak, but I will explain how obvious things have been...
Without going into great detail...actually very little detail...there have been some issues that have come up recently (not between Josh and I--just so you know). Anyway, as hard as it is to do at times, we chose the road of forgiveness. Sometimes, your mind questions that and you question yourself, but we truly knew that it was/is the right thing to do. The feeling is so freeing. It's hard to explain unless you have been there which I know everyone has hopefully experienced it at least once in their lifetime (hopefully more).
On to the "billboards"... As it would happen, we began looking in our book for our next small group study. It had been a couple of weeks since we met and we hadn't looked ahead, however the next 2 lessons were on bitterness and forgiveness. WOW! As if that wasn't enough, when we got to church and sat down for the morning service, I noticed the title as being on "Forgiveness". WOW--again. It felt as if God had it there just for us--twice in one week. Now, our church is definitely large enough so that it wouldn't be as though our pastor "fashioned" a message just for us (not that he would anyway =) ) For me, it was like God was putting an exclamation mark on the fact that we did need to forgive and reinforcing it for us.
It's like a reinforcement that God knows and cares about us and our mistakes and our problems as though we are the only people that exist.

It was a beautiful weekend and exactly how I love for weekends to be--fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. It was the first weekend that we didn't have a project in progress. We did work, however it was with a more laid back approach! The bicycles are sure fun!!
