Whenever a weekend comes to a close, I usually wish for more weekend and kind of recall how busy it was without knowing everything we did. Well, here's my attempt at remembering the whirlwind weekend:
- Josh worked on tiling in the bath
- dinner at Chili's Friday night followed by shopping at all our favorite stores
- took the girls to see G&G and spent some time with them on Friday night
- made cinnamon rolls for breakfast on Saturday morning
- cleaned the kitchen and steam cleaned some carpet on Saturday morning
- went to the grocery store, K-Mart, and Menards before heading to lunch
- had yummy lunch with my family to celebrate dad's birthday
- returned some items that we bought Friday night
- went to the River Park to play and walk around in the beautiful weather
- got slushes
- went for pizza for Sat. evening dinner
- painted our hallway (both ceiling & walls)--it looks great =)
- went to Starbucks
- put the girls to bed
- Sunday...got ready for church
- Keirah went in her new 2 year old class--we were told that she was very sweet and had 2 helpings of snacks--not surprising since she is quite the eater
- Aliyah said 4 Bible verses and earned her first ribbon in the well-versed kid program =)
- learned that a wise person is a person who listens--compliments of our study in the book of James--yep need to work on that some more
- ate lunch
- came home & played outside on the trampoline & swings for a few hours
- Josh mowed
- took a short nap
- got up and went on a walk
- cleaned our house
- made Tacos for Taco night--mmm
- did the dishes while Aliyah worked on some verses and school
- folded laundry
- watched Amazing Race
- worked on my Shutterfly book--added like 14 more pages--almost done
- watched the news briefly
- blogged
Time for bed and rest!!
There, now maybe I can understand why weekends are fun-filled and very tiring
