Okay, I confess I am a list maker. I do not make grocery lists anymore because there isn't any need really. The only thing we need regularly is milk and I always remember that. We are unconventional grocery shoppers anyway. We don't have a grocery day, and we buy things when they are on sale or great mark-downs. This method has been working for quite awhile now.
Back to lists--oops. I made a to-do list for today because we had odd things to do. Josh worked again and has no day off this week. He got off at 1:00 which gave us the afternoon and evening together. I was sitting in the backyard today and noticed a bush that needed removed. It had no rhyme or reason and did not match the others--added to the list. Haircut for Josh--on the list. Move the trampoline and kid's picnic table--list. Touch up paint in new bath & caulk around window--list. Go to Target--remember a new rug and adhesive--list. We came home after lunch with Josh and made short work of the bush--even the roots. Today marks bush numbers 44-45 that we have removed from our property since moving here!!! How is that possible?? If you saw our house before, you would understand. It was SURROUNDEDDD by a wall of bushes on several sides. UGLY UGLY UGLY! We even had bushes at the end of the driveway and front walkway-for what?? IDK! Anyway, we now consider oursevles to be expert bush-removers =)! We've had the practice right?
We went to Target and picked up a couple of things. Josh got his haircut while I looked around in Scrapadoodle. Following that, we decided to check out 2 stores we hadn't visited before. The girls got some much needed Pediped shoes for the colder weather. They are SOOO cuper cute. If I were little, I would wear them! We also got some glorious local caramel corn. It tastes like no other! I even found some great ideas for Christmas gifts. Gotta start early you know.
It was absolutely wonderful outside. I only wish that Josh had a full day off before a long weekend of work. Don't get me wrong, the extra ca$h is nice with the holidays coming up, but I would like to see my husband more often! I had better go and see how my list is coming along.
