Spilled Milk

Haven't you heard the saying, "don't cry over spilled milk"? Well, I didn't cry, however Aliyah did. I wanted to scream actually. More on that later.
The day went well--albeit cool outside. I picked up the girls who seemed to be in good moods. They enjoyed time outside swinging and playing before supper. After supper, we took our regular walk. I savored it as I know we won't get to take them regularly pretty soon. When we arrived home, the girls jumped off some energy in the trampoline as I watched and played with them. We came inside so Aliyah could get started on her schoolwork for the evening. Keirah was happy and entertained by various school supplies or simply picking up things that dropped. Aliyah flew right through most of the lessons. The switch to one lesson was a very welcome change as it took way less time.
We were finishing up with reading and some verses for church when Aliyah started coughing. I don't know if she swallowed wrong or what. She went into the kitchen and approximately 5 seconds later I heard her say something. I looked to see chocolate milk spilled all over the floor! She had gotten the jug and tried to pour and spilled it!! It splattered everywhere! I made her begin soaking it up. I had to follow behind with the Mr. Clean so that it wouldn't be sticky. After cleaning several times over, I think it is finally okay. She went to bed since she didn't ask if she could have more chocolate milk. I don't think she will do that one again.
In other news, I decided to get out my throw (a fave from Juju) since it is kinda chilly. It needed freshened up from sitting in the closet for months. I threw it in the wash and I'm waiting for it to dry. I plan to begin my Shutterfly book momentarily since the kids are in bed and there's nothing on TV. Josh is at work--where else?? On top of his already-full work week, he got an extra 12 hours. That's definitely at least 1 extra day huh?
Well, I want to get a good start on my book and I have well over 200 pics to choose from--wish me luck!!
