Thursday

This is a hodge-podge I suppose because I have lots of things.

• The Olympics start tomorrow and I'm EXCITED! I absolutely love the Olympics especially the summer games! I love watching swimming, gymnastics, track, and VB and most anything. I always couldn't believe it when I was younger that I would be four years older by the next one. I'm hoping they come to Chicago cuz if they do...I'm so there!



• It must be post on your blog day because many that I read had new posts today. It took me awhile to read them while, but I love them.



• I want to welcome my friend Michelle to the blog world. She's a newbie at this and her blog layout is already WAY COOLER!!



• I'm getting SUPER DUPER excited about SATURDAY...you see Josh and I are going to SIX FLAGS! We haven't been in 7 years. The last time we went was on our 1 year anniversary. The reason we haven't been...I have been pregnant 4 summers and we missed the 2 other summers that I wasn't besides the year we did go. Anyway, on to some fun and a date day for us. A getaway that we need.



• This weekend starts birthday week for us. My 3 loves have birthdays pretty close together. Josh is on Sunday, Aliyah on Tuesday, then grandpa, then Kiki in a couple of weeks.



• I am looking forward to going to Chicago this coming Tuesday for Aliyah's special birthday in the city!



• We got a note in the mail today from our former neighbor with pics of her little girl. Keirah must remember her because she has been grabbing the pics and smiling and saying the little girl's name over and over again!!



• I went to a little park with my girls and my mom tonight and I got on the merry-go-round, the swings, and the playset. I was so high on the swings, I had to slow down...the chain was doing that jerk thing once you get so high.



• I'm ready to watch TV tonight because last night, as I turned it on, all the electricity went off in the neighborhood. I'm thinking maybe they should do that for an hour a week or so if it's not hot. You see, I saw more neighbors outside than I have ever seen here. It was light out still, so we walked up to grandma's house until Josh got off work. Luckily, the power was back on those hours later.



• The evening was gorgeous tonight!



• I want to go swimming again.



• I want a nice cold one--a Dr. Pepper that is...



• Blogging is fun and a great way to keep up with friends and chronicle day-to-day life



• the baby robins are all gone now. "Ticklish" the nest on Monday, "Tutti" on Tuesday and we haven't seen any of them since. We do have pictures of each one leaving so we can rememer and we even have their old nest--it's on the porch still in the window box now.
