Toddlers

Lately, Aliyah has become obssessed with the "toddler age". I'm not sure why but she loves to call Keirah a toddler and has even taught her to say "toddler". Well, to continue the trend, we came home today and looked at our baby robins. One of them "cookie" was standing on the nest and proceeded to take her first flight. She then hopped away as I was trying to take her picture. "Ticklish" and "Tutti" still remain in the nest but I'm sure their day is coming to leave the nest as well =(. It has been so fun watching them grow, although it went by so FAST! I'm glad little ones don't grow as fast as baby robins do, but boy it sometimes seems like it. Aliyah has just informed me that the robins are now TODDLERS! I have to smile--the toddler robins. Here is a picture for you to enjoy of "Cookie" and then "Ticklish & "Tutti".

In other news, my favorite aunt gave my little humble blog an award. Now, when I figure out how to add it to my sidebar and all of the other little things, I will accept it. Wow--an award for my little blog amongst the many other beautiful blogs there are. Mine is generic, but it is serving it's purpose of making/keeping our memories! To all of you that have beautiful blogs, they are awesome and I enjoy looking at them. For now, mine will be like the house on the street that has no flowers. Now, if you are looking for a house with flowers, I have lots of those. I sometimes think others get to enjoy my work more than I do because of the pretty view they get. Anyway, I will get right on that award thing. If I don't figure it out, I will ask my love when he gets home.

I couldn't resist these pics of Aliyah in her new Matilda Jane dress today. I really like it and think she looks sweet. It's hard to believe, but she is turning 6 in just 9 days--where oh where has the time gone?? First grade awaits us and she is excited. In other news, I found another consignment shop today. I found one thing for Aliyah and a few for Keirah. What else do you do when the store you shop at doesn't have the size you need?? Look elsewhere like I have. I have figured out that 5's and 6's are extremely popular little girl sizes. The store that I normally shop at has almost no selection these days and even the consignment shops do not have what I am looking for--in that size.

BTW, the picture of Aliyah in that skirt the other day on my blog---is a size 12-18 months!! It really is! I did buy it for Keirah, but couldn't resist having her try it on. She's a tiny one for her age and weighs right around 35 lbs.
